The Washington Middle School houses all students in grades 6, 7, and 8.  WMS believes in true middle level educational practices.  Students are provided many learning opportunities and experiences, in the smallest learning environment possible. It is our goal to not only
provide the best educational experience, but to also develop a safe, nurturing environment that is conducive to middle aged learners. Through teaming, advisory classes and an extensive encore program we feel the
best opportunities are in Calumet.
